Let's be real. Shipping furniture across the country is both time and resource intensive. That's why, at Modicile, we make every effort to ensure you're completely happy with your purchase and we can avoid returns altogether.
We take pride in hand-selecting high quality modern furniture and home accents from manufacturers all over the world. In order to ensure you're thrilled with your purchase when it arrives, our buyers only select items that meet several criteria:
- First, the item must be well-made and boast a modern style we'd be willing to place in our own homes and offices.
- Second, every product must be professionally photographed and accurately depicted on our web site.
- Third, the manufacturer must have experienced packaging designers to ensure the product arrives to you in perfect condition!
Additionally, each of our representatives has decades of furniture experience, including in-depth knowledge of our entire product line to answer any question you may have before making a purchase.
In the event you are unhappy with your purchase, any Modicile regularly stocked item purchased at regular price may be returned within seven (7) days from the time of delivery, or thirty (30) days after shipping (whichever is earlier).
As we mentioned, returns are incredibly expensive. In an effort to make the process as fair as possible, you'll have the option of accepting a refund minus the fees outlined below, or a full store credit. In either case, merchandise must be in new condition (not assembled) and returned in the original packaging as originally shipped. Merchandise that has been used, installed, or delivered with "concealed" damage can not be returned. Mattresses, futons, pillows, sleepers and other bedding items cannot be returned. Special order and clearance items can NOT be returned.
Modicile will provide prepaid return labels for small package items, and coordinate return shipping documentation and pick ups for larger items.
If you're planning on a refund back to your credit card, be advised that all original shipping charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. Many of our products may ship with promotional offers, such as "free shipping," however the actual outbound shipping costs (from Modicile or our agents to you) will be deducted from any returned items. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and the customer must also pay for return freight charges. The restocking fee and all freight charges will be deducted from the amount refunded. As you can imagine, these fees can add up quickly!
If you opt for a refund back to your credit card, the refund will be processed once the item is returned and inspected.
Delivery time frames are NOT guaranteed. Shipping delays are NOT cause for exemption from the Modicile Return Policy. Modicile is NOT responsible for shipping, manufacturer or production delays, and/or missed deliveries or estimated arrival dates. We make every effort to work with the best manufacturing and trucking companies; however occasionally delays and mishaps occur.
Order cancelations must be submitted and confirmed in writing prior to shipment to be exempt from our Return Policy.
